PubMed or MedlinePlus: Nutrition Studies and Reliable Info

Q.  Where is a good place to find studies on nutrition?

  If you are a health professional, I'd suggest starting with the National Library of Medicine's Pubmed.  It's my first stop for gathering research.   It's a wealth of information, but it can be very daunting, as this is the scholarly place where a vast number of studies are indexed, abstracted and linked to the journals in which they were published. For consumers,  there's an excellent and more consumer-friendly tool, MedlinePlus,  where you can find latest research on nutrition and medical issues, but it's written in a practical manner.  It also has a wealth of reference tools—including interactive tutorials, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, and the latest health news. MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from National Library of Medicine's , the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other health-related organizations. MedlinePlus also contains extensive information about drugs and supplements.  You can start your own search by clicking on the icon below:
